Bird feeder (it's gorgeous by the way!) = mice feeder. Which is fine but just be aware it's very inviting to the wee ones whilst you're trying to get rid of them :) And when rehoming mice they've got to be taken at least a mile or two away, they have AMAZING homing instincts! I've had a mouse return home almost faster than I did one night when I took it on a little road trip that wasn't far enough away 🤣

I'm so pleased that you used humane mouse traps! I know of another famous vegan UA-camr couple (cough, E&B...) who used to use mouse traps and poison, which shocked me. It's unnecessary to make them suffer plus you're supposed to be vegans?!

Get cat hair from someone. Use it all the way round edges of Custard - they will stay gone. Haven't had a mouse in 10 years on my perm parked RV.

Get cats. Barn cats, they live outside and require very little attention until they have taken care of all of your little buddies.

Hi Craig & Aimee. I know it's early days, and there could be room for a basket ball hoop, but have you thought of an additional area that a visiting motorhome could park-up when visiting you. Whether it be close family/friends or even volunteer subscribers prepared to give a helping hand in return for a free park-up and a hot shower. Speaking of which, that (additional shower/toilet) could be a nice add-on so to keep the guests separate from the main house. You might be surprised how many "tradies" are out there that might give you a helping hand in exchange for a holiday. With your "visitor pad", they could be caretakers for Aimee's birds ( and future furry Scottish Moo Moo/lawn mower) when you take Custard on a "Look-see" adventure. Kind regards, Stuart

Wildlife rehabilitation facilities. If you trap the mice without using poison, you can take the mice to the wildlife rehabilitation facilities. They use the mice to feed animals and birds that they are caring for. So Google Wildlife rehabilitation in your area to help save wildlife and get rid of your mice.

Learning by doing is the way to go! Sorry about the mice. Lots of good advice in all these comments. Also: Plastic bins that fit in your spaces might help. Lots of small food packages can be safely stored in plastic bins with tightly fitting lids. (Really Useful Boxes etc). We also use a good supply of elastic bands to close plastic packages. Just fold the top over and put the elastic around. This is tidier and more secure than clips or pegs. If you cut off the food supply the mice might be persuaded to move on?

We adopted our dog from the pond. His name is Sparky. He is a cross between Milo and the lazy one. We do Estate Planning and he comes to work every day. The clients love him!
